1. Purpose of policy

This Policy provides a policy for management of the following account (the "Account") of the Supreme Court of Japan, General Secretariat, Administrative Affairs Bureau (the "Administrative Affairs Bureau").

Officials from the First Section of the Administrative Affairs Bureau or operators of the Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property.

(2) Posted content
This YouTube page is solely for publicizing videos of publicly-open programs of the Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property.

3. Comments

Users cannot leave any comments on the content.

4. Disclaimer

(1) The Administrative Affairs Bureau does not guarantee the accuracy of any information made available and disclaims all liability for damages suffered by a user or third party as a result of the user using or relying on the information.

(2) The Administrative Affairs Bureau disclaims all liability for any user's activities utilizing information on the YouTube page.

(3) The Administrative Affairs Bureau disclaims all liability for any disputes between users or with third parties in connection with the YouTube page or damages arising therefrom.

(4) In addition to the liabilities as set out in (1) through (3) above, the Administrative Affairs Bureau disclaims all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with matters related to the YouTube page.

5. Intellectual property

(1) Intellectual properties in content of the YouTube page, including footage, sound, photographs, illustrations and articles, are vested in the Supreme Court of Japan or the legitimate holders of the respective rights.

(2) Unauthorized reproduction or republication of any content of the YouTube page is prohibited, except for private use or citation otherwise permitted under the Copyright Act. All citations should indicate the source using appropriate means.

6. Other

(1) The Administrative Affairs Bureau reserves the right to terminate the use of YouTube, amend or delete the content or cancel the Account without prior notice.

(2) This Policy is subject to change as necessary without prior notice.
